GALAXY OF STARS TALENT SEARCH 2011
AT THE NEBRASKA STATE FAIR
Thirty-seven performances were entered in the Nebraska State Fair Galaxy of Stars Talent Search Semi-Finals. Contestants from Thirty-three cities from across Nebraska competed on the Bristol Windows Stage in the Semi- Finals on Saturday, September 3rd. Twenty -three performances advanced to the Finals on Sunday, September 4th. It was an exciting time for contestants, families, friends and all who were involved in the production of the Talent Search! A well deserved Congratulations to all the talented contestants who participated in the two day competition! ~ Wynne

How does a small town rancher find his way to the performance stage? "There’s a video of me when I was 5 or 6 impersonating Elvis. I think I’ve probably known I wanted to perform since then. I’ve always loved singing and after I stopped doing rodeos, it just felt like time. I entered a talent search called the Galaxy of Stars® and was in it for 4 years and it’s really where I learned how to gauge a crowd’s reaction and work an audience. Performing in front of people gave me such an adrenaline rush the first time that I just couldn’t stop! Without the Galaxy of Stars®, I wouldn’t be here today! "
