Talent Search
This is the first year the Nebraska State Fair will be in Grand Island. Though it may be new and different, the fun and excitement remains the same! Also, this year the Nebraska State Fair Galaxy of Stars Talent Search will be a One Day Finals Competition. The Highest Scoring Video Contestants from three age divisions qualify and advance to perform on the Bristol Windows Stage in Fonner Park at the Nebraska State Fair and compete for over $5,000.00 in prizes, trophies, recording sessions and cash!
Galaxy of Stars Songwriting Contest
The songwriters of the Top Three highest scoring songs will have the opportunity to showcase their original songs on stage during the Nebraska State Fair Galaxy of Stars Talent Search Finals Competition. All Top Fifteen Original Songs will be announced during the Awards Ceremony following the Talent Search competition, and songwriters will receive their awards for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place winning songs.
